Surrounded by the indolent darkness she finds comfort in loneliness.
Paradise as an illusion to her eyes, mistaken by the kindness she was a victim of love.
” apologies, my heart, I shall betray myself no more” she said.
She believes no one, she hears no lies, but his stained innocence pierces her shredded heart.
Her emotionless eyes suffocated with pain; she walks away.
Caged in her sorrows, her lips spoke words of love.
She begs the spirit to set her free.
As she walks through the assemblage of unknown faces,
Tears resting on her lethargic face,
She stumbles and falls, a flash of pain.
Her eyes cried vague emotions
Her heart cried to be unscathed.
Another soul resting in her serene nest, another spotless heart throbbing inside her.
“A grave mistake”, she said “a grave mistake have I done “
She fell for his tempting desire.
The darkness filled her eyes as they shut. Unfamiliar hands holding her up.
As she opens her eyes, to a fainted pain.
He, the sin. She, the sinner.
Untamed and unloved. The flowers bloom and the flowers wither,
He was the king, but she was not his queen.
She numbed her pain in his desire
What now?
Once a beautiful rose, now the thorns remain the petals to dust.
Her lungs stop her from breathing as she reminisces the days of their untrue desire.
As she walks home gracefully caressing the nest of her unborn child
She realises, she must be relentless, and she must not wither with her feelings.
Deep inside, she murdered his soul a thousand times.
Albeit, her kind broken heart would never let her.
Certainly, she must survive,
She must survive the fire that destroyed her path.
